Lucentis means "shining" in Latin. We picked it for the one thing every dog is looking for: a warm spot to curl up in. That's the whole business. We find the beds, bowls, mats and walk gear that make a dog's day a little better, and we ship them from inside the United States.
Who we are
Lucentis LLC is a small, independent company registered in New Mexico. Our business address is 1401 Pennsylvania Ave, Suite 102, Wilmington, DE 19806, and the team works remotely. No warehouse full of everything, no fifty-person marketing department. A short catalog we actually stand behind, and a real person answering support email Monday through Friday.
Why we exist
The pet aisle is loud. Every bed is "premium," every mat is "ultimate," and half the products arrive three weeks later from somewhere you can't return them to. We wanted a store that answers the only questions a dog owner has: Will it hold up? Can I wash it? When does it get here? And what happens if it's wrong?
So we sell comfort and enrichment goods only: orthopedic and bolster beds, calming cushions, blankets, slow feeders, lick mats, snuffle mats, elevated bowls, water fountains, reflective harnesses and leashes, car seat covers. No food, no treats, no supplements, no remedies. We're not a pharmacy and we don't pretend to be one. "Cozy" and "calming" on our site describe how a product feels, not what it treats. If your dog has a health concern, your veterinarian is the right call, not a bed.
How we choose what to sell
Every product on the site clears the same five checks before it gets a page:
- It holds up. Foam that keeps its shape, stitching that survives a dog who digs before lying down, hardware that doesn't rust after one rainy walk.
- It washes. If it goes on the floor or under a dog, it can be washed: a zip-off cover or the whole bed goes in the machine, blankets too, and cooling mats wipe clean. If it can't be cleaned easily, we don't sell it.
- We can tell you what it's made of. Every product page lists the materials, the measurements and the care instructions. If a supplier can't give us those, we skip the product.
- It's stocked in the United States. Everything ships from our fulfillment partner in Clovis, New Mexico, which is why orders leave in 1–2 business days and arrive in 2–5, with tracking. No three-week boat.
- It solves a real problem. Dogs who inhale dinner, dogs who ignore their water bowl, dogs you can't see on a night walk, dogs who take up the whole couch. If we can't name the problem, we don't add the product.
How orders work
You order, we send it to our fulfillment partner in Clovis, New Mexico, and they pack and hand it to USPS or UPS within 1–2 business days. Delivery takes 2–5 business days after that. Orders of $49 or more ship free; under $49 it's a flat $5.95. If something isn't right, you have 30 days after delivery to return it unused. What we don't do
No countdown timers. No fake stock counters that reset when you reload. No fake reviews, and no reviews section at all until enough real customers have written one. No pop-ups blocking the page. The price on the product page is the price at checkout.
