I already have one at home that I'm very happy with, which has been through several machine washes and is still in great shape! My little Chihuahua (a long-haired 2 kg one) also approves! I chose the same size as the other bed, 50 cm in diameter. I recommend having at least two at home, so you always have one available while the other is being washed and dried.

Donut beds are for curl-up sleepers, so measure your dog the way they sleep: from the tip of their nose to the base of their tail while curled up. Add 4 to 6 in of buffer so the rim does not push into them. The numbers below are the outside diameter — the sleeping well inside is smaller.

How do I know which size my dog needs?
Measure your dog nose to tail base while they are curled up, then add 4 to 6 in. Most dogs like a little extra room to shift around, not a bed that swallows them.
Will my dog actually use it?
Donut beds fit curl-up sleepers best — dogs who nose into cushions, burrow under blankets, or tuck against your leg on the couch. If your dog sleeps sprawled flat or belly-up, a flat mat suits them better. Either way, if they do not take to it in 30 days, email us and we make it right.
Does it hold up in the washer and dryer?
Yes — the whole bed goes in. Cold gentle wash, tumble low. Fluff the rim by hand while it is still slightly damp and the loft comes back.
Will it slide on hardwood floors?
The base is a grippy fabric made to hold on hardwood, tile, and laminate. Two things that can defeat it: a freshly waxed floor, or a dog who body-slams the bed at full speed. For most homes it stays put.
